  • Amber Weiseth

    Dr. Amber Weiseth DNP, MSN, RNC-OB

    FOUNDER AND CEO

    Amber is Unravel’s Founder and CEO and leads strategy, sales, and client relationships. Amber also serves as Director for the Delivery Decisions Initiative (DDI) at Ariadne Labs, overseeing the design, measurement, and implementation of the TeamBirth Project.

    Amber has been an obstetric nurse for 20 years, specializing in quality improvement and project implementation. She is a Research Scientist at Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management.

    Before joining Ariadne Labs, Amber served as Assistant Director for Maternal-Infant Health Initiatives at the Washington State Hospital Association, where she led safety and quality work in the state’s birthing hospitals. While there, she worked to decrease maternal morbidity and mortality in the state through the implementation of a maternal early warning trigger system (MEWT) and qualitative blood loss measurement.

    Amber earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota. She graduated with her MSN from Western Governors University in Healthcare Administration and Nursing Leadership and completed her BSN from Seattle Pacific University.

    Tyler Fox

    CHIEF OF STAFF

    Tyler is our Chief of Staff and the nerve center of everything at Unravel. He handles it all, from keeping the trains running on time, supporting Amber, managing client projects, leading sales pursuits, and creating marketing collateral while continuing to serve as Strategy and Project Coordinator on the Delivery Decisions Initiative (DDI) team.

    Tyler earned his Master of Public Health in Health and Social Behavior at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focusing on health equity and maternal and child health. He received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he majored in Anthropology.

  • Trisha Short

    Trisha Short

    DIRECTOR, IMPLEMENTATION

    Trisha Short leads the delivery of projects and programs for Unravel Healthcare. She is also a Clinical Implementation Specialist of the Delivery Decisions Initiative at Ariadne Labs.

    Trisha has been an obstetrical nurse for 17 years, specializing in high-risk obstetrics and quality improvement, and is a certified AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Instructor.

    She joined the Ariadne and Unravel team after leading the successful implementation of TeamBirth at her hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    She earned her BSN from the University of Oklahoma.

  • Fiona Unsworth

    DIRECTOR, PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    Fiona designs and leads project management efforts at Unravel, focusing on the implementation of TeamBirth across the U.S. She draws on a strong background in quality improvement initiatives from her work at Boston Children's Hospital, where she focused on strengthening outcomes in immunizations, asthma, newborn health, and behavioral health.

    After observing how many pediatric outcomes are shaped by maternal health, she focused her Master of Public Health studies at Yale on Maternal and Child Health Promotion. Her work is driven by a commitment to creating systems where birthing people are truly heard, respected, and empowered.
